Manchester United are ready to battle rivals Manchester City for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to the Mirror .
Goal reported earlier this week that City are nearing a deal for the Brazil-born Italy international, but United still hope to bring Jorginho to Old Trafford next season.
Any deal for the 26-year-old would likely cost in the region of £50 million.
Man Utd to rival Spurs for Sessegnon
Manchester United will battle Tottenham for Fulham wunderkind Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to ESPN FC.
At age 17, Sessegnon has won the Championship Player of the Year award, drawing interest from big sides all over Europe with his performances.
Sessegnon is believed to prefer remaining in London, which has bolstered Tottenham's hopes.
Though Fulham are keen to hold onto the left-back, United hope to prise him away in the summer with a big-money offer.
